Who We Are:
Birds and Exotics Animal Care is South Carolina’s premiere avian and exotic specialty practice. Dr. Biascoechea, board-certified in avian medicine, and Dr. Rainwater treat all types of birds, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish. We also accept referral cases from veterinarians throughout the state and surrounding areas.

Each exotic species has its own anatomy and physiology, and diagnosing and treating their illnesses requires comprehensive knowledge of this diversity. We have devoted ourselves to providing the highest quality of care and avidly pursuing continuing education to keep up with the latest advancements in exotic pet medicine.
