Dr. Pierce earned her DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed the Aquatic Animal Health Certification at MSU CVM. Her background includes aquatic and avian medicine, sea turtle and marine mammal rehabilitation, private exotic-animal practice, and published research involving rabbits, manatees, and bottlenose dolphins.
