What to Expect at Your First Visit

Our doctor and staff will review the diet, housing, and history information you submitted before your appointment through your Patient Pre-Visit Information Form. When you arrive, our Client Services Coordinators will greet you and your pet and let the Veterinary Technician know you’re here.

Our Veterinary Technician will prepare the exam room and ask for any additional information or updates. Our doctor will perform a thorough external physical examination. After this assessment, the Veterinary Technician will invite you into the exam room to discuss initial findings, recommended diagnostics, and the proposed course of action.

You will return to the welcome area while the doctor and staff perform recommended diagnostics, procedures, or treatments. Because we have a comprehensive in-house lab, we are often able to provide on-site diagnostics with immediate results. The team will review findings and recommendations with you afterward.

You will wait in the welcome area while take-home supplies are prepared. Our Client Services Coordinator will process payment, help schedule a medical progress exam if needed, and a detailed summary of your pet’s examination and care instructions will be emailed to you.

Our care doesn’t end when you walk out the door. If you remember a question, have concerns about your pet’s progress, encounter difficulty with prescribed treatments, or need additional help, reach out through our app or by phone.
