Emergency and Urgent Vet Care for Exotic Pets in Charleston, SC

Do you think your pet needs emergency or urgent care? Please bring them in to see us so one of our experienced exotic veterinarians can treat them. With urgent or potentially life-threatening medical situations, it is crucial that your pet is brought to the right facility as quickly as possible. Having to transfer your pet from one facility to another could be the difference between life and death.

Our hospital is equipped to treat a wide range of urgent problems and emergencies. If you are concerned about your pet's health, call us as soon as possible at (843) 216-8387.

We are open 8AM-7PM Monday through Thursday, 8AM-6PM Friday, and 8AM-2PM Saturday.
On Saturdays and Sundays, we have an answering service available during our daytime hours which you can use to reach a doctor if needed. This type of appointment requires a non-refundable deposit, since the on-call vet will need to travel to see your pet.

Recommended After-Hours Emergency Vets

Please be aware that after-hours appointments are more costly than daytime appointments, and ER vets mainly see dogs and cats. Therefore, the level of care they are able to provide may not be optimal for your exotic pet. However, when it comes to life or death situations, one of them should be able to assist.
