What to Expect from Your Exotic Pet’s Laser Therapy Treatment

What to Expect from Your Exotic Pet’s Laser Therapy Treatment

Treatment results can vary depending on your pet’s condition and other factors. Typically, chronic conditions require multiple (roughly 4-5) treatments for us to see considerable improvement in the patient’s pain reduction and mobility. Treatments are cumulative in nature, so as we progress with your pet’s laser therapy sessions, they should require treatment less frequently. For most patients, the affected area starts feeling better within 12-24 hours of treatment.

To ensure better results for your companion, it’s important to keep them calm and quiet during treatment. Ultimately, the length and frequency of your pet’s laser therapy treatments will determine their results.
